Grand Theft Auto IV
The Good
Superb character-driven story Liberty City really does feel alive.Multiplayer modes that let 16 players go wild across the entire city.Genuinely funny radio and TV shows, comedy acts, and character dialogue.Controls are much improved over previous games.
The Bad
Stepping off a boat in the shoes of illegal immigrant Niko Bellic as he arrives in Liberty City at the start of Grand Theft Auto IV, you can tell immediately that Rockstar North's latest offering is something quite special. Yes, this is another GTA game in which you'll likely spend the bulk of your time stealing cars and gunning down cops and criminals, but it's also much more than that. GTAIV is a game with a compelling and nonlinear storyline, a game with a great protagonist who you can't help but like, and a game that boasts a plethora of online multiplayer features in addition to its lengthy story mode. It's not without some flaws, but GTAIV is undoubtedly the best Grand Theft Auto yet.

From engineering to hydroponics and beyond, Dead Space never fails to impress with its visuals. Whether you're watching the torrential rainfall of asteroids across the hull of the Ishimura from the bridge atrium or witnessing the way a corpse spins serenely in a zero-g vacuum, the haunting yet beautiful graphics of Dead Space have a way of sticking in your mind long after you've quit playing. Semi-interactive cutscenes such as the one in which your team's rescue ship explodes within the Ishimura docking bay simply must be seen firsthand, and the tremendous lighting and environmental effects lay the groundwork for an intense horror adventure.

This looks like a fantastic game, if you LOVE being scared out of your skin, like me. I haven't played it, but I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for it.
hanny- i am typing about a thai movie called Dorm..It is about A young boy is transferred to a boarding school in the middle of the semester, feeling lonely and abandoned. He learns of a story about a closed pool and the child that drowned in it a few years back. Does this have anything to do with his new friend?
Also Known As: Dek Hor
Production Status: Released
Genres: Art/Foreign, Science Fiction/Fantasy, Suspense/Horror and Thriller
Running Time: 1 hr. 50 min.
MPAA Rating: Not Rated
Production Co.: GMM Tai Hub, Phenomena Motion Picture
Produced in: Thailand
the heroes of the movie are Sirachuch Michael Chienthaworn and Charlie Trairat..You better watch it..They're HOTT!!
The plot begins with a twelve year old boy called Chatree (young actor Chatree Trairat, also in “My Girl”) being driven to a new boarding school in the countryside by his parents, apparently as a result of his father’s desire for him to study harder. The young lad understandably has difficulty settling into his new life, not least due to the fact that the students who sleep in the massive dormitory have a habit of staying up at night and telling ghost stories by torchlight, much to the annoyance of the creepy headmistress Ms. Pranee (Jintara Sukapat), who seems to have more than a few screws loose. Chatree soon finds himself caught up in a real life haunting after he begins to suspect that his new friend Wichien (Sirarath Jianthavom) may be harbouring a sinister secret of his own.
The main strength of “Dorm” is that it is far from being a simple tale of the supernatural, with fears grounded in the anxieties of emerging adolescence, loneliness and guilt, all of which are played out against an effectively ominous and threatening institutional setting. Despite initial appearances, the film is actually far more akin to Guillermo del Toro’s classic “The Devil’s Backbone” than the likes of the Korean “Whispering Corridors” series, and is in essence a character driven affair whose horror elements are largely born from confusion, sadness and the anxiety inherent in the protagonist’s situation.
Sugmakana builds from a solid emotional foundation, with Chatree’s relationships with his friends, and more importantly his father playing every bit as important a part in the proceedings as the ghostly goings-on. All of this investment in character serves well to make the setting more believable, something which lends the film’s frights a real edge devoid from the vast majority of similar genre efforts.
As a result, the film is genuinely creepy, with an eerie atmosphere throughout and plenty of effective scare scenes. Although Sugmakana does to an extent rely upon a number of genre conventions, such as hands suddenly reaching from sinks, creaking doors and half-seen shadowy figures, these are expertly employed and never seem as tired as they might have. The film also features a number of original and inventive touches, such as a chorus of howling dogs, used initially as a signifier of doom, and later for surprisingly touching effect.
Sugmakana’s direction is excellent, and he gives the proceedings a grey, foreboding look which really brings the dormitory to life as a sinister character in its own right, helped by the notably high production values, something which sets the film apart from other Thai horror outings, which tend to be rather shoddy, low budget affairs. The film is well structured and paced, with the plot spurred on by a series of revelations rather than building towards the kind of big twist ending so popular in the modern ghost genre. The narrative does take a number of unexpected turns, and as a result is very engrossing, thanks in no small part to the emotional investment in characters and the painfully human drama at the film’s core.
“Dorm” stands not only as the best horror film from Thailand in recent years, being superior to the enjoyable though rather formulaic “Shutter”, but also as one of the best from any Asian country. Frightening and moving in equal parts, it is a film of considerable substance, and one which boasts a level of depth rarely seen in the genre. Although unlikely to revitalise the desperately tired form, it does at least serve to remind viewers that there is still life in the ghost film, at least when directors are willing to put in the same amount of dedication and effort shown by the talented Sugmakana.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3
The Good
-Excellent, sinister story draws you in from the very beginning
-Two disparate gameplay styles mesh well and provide plenty of contrast
-Shooting yourself in the head to summon a persona never loses its intensity
-Exquisite production values
The Bad
At the outset of the game, you name your character, who has just transferred to Gekkoukan high school. But it's clear that not everything is kosher at the seemingly average campus. Mysterious creatures called shadows are threatening the locals, spreading an enigmatic disease called apathy syndrome that leaves their victims as listless as the name implies. However, their activity is generally confined to the dark hour: an hour sandwiched between midnight and 1 a.m. Most people are oblivious to this hour, while others are distinctly aware of the creepy dark hour in which the undulating gloom seals most of humanity in gothic coffins. Those unseemly heroes are in touch with their personas, which can be summoned to fight shadows in the realm of Tartarus, where most of them are restricted. At Gekkoukan, known persona users have created the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad and are determined to wipe the shadows off the face of the earth.

***TWILIGHT***
The reason why I like this book is that to me it is a mix of my favourite book types. It has a little nit of romance, creatures in it, kind of adventure and strange, weird and rare stuff.
Twilight is actually about a young adult vampire/romance novel written by author Stephenie Meyer. It was originally published in hardcover in 2005. It is the first book of the Twilight series, and introduces seventeen-year-old Isabella "Bella" Swan who moves from Phoenix, Arizona, to Forks, Washington, and finds her life in danger when she falls in love with a vampire, Edward Cullen. The novel is followed by New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn.
It was made by Stephenie Meyer. The cover also has really good sense to it. Let me explain,
Stephenie Meyer has stated that the apple on the cover represents the forbidden fruit from the book of Genesis. It symbolizes Bella and Edward's love, which is forbidden, similar to the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. It also represents the choice that Bella has, of partaking of the "forbidden fruit", Edward, or choosing to not see him.
Well I think thats all I could say and if you want to know more about it you could check at wikipedia at the website http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twilight_(novel) or you could read the book!

Drew Carey hosted the U.S. version of Whose Line?. He was joined by the U.K. version's Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles as regular performers. Wayne Brady also became a regular in the second season. The fourth seat was most commonly filled by other U.K. veterans, including Greg Proops, Brad Sherwood and Chip Esten. Several newcomers joined the rotation: Denny Siegel in the first two seasons and Kathy Greenwood starting the third season after having appeared in two episodes of the previous season. Other fourth-seat performers appeared for only a few appearances (some as few as one), including Jeff Davis, Karen Maruyama, Patrick Bristow, Ian Gomez, U.K. veteran Josie Lawrence, Drew Carey Show actress Kathy Kinney and then-Daily Show correspondent Stephen Colbert.

Heroes is definitely one of the great shows on television today. NBC broke the mold with this one, and after three seasons still manages to dazzle the public each week with a new and amazing plot twist lovable characters and uncertainty around each corner. Its a super hero show like none before it, there is something here for everyone, a hero each of us can relate to, a part of each of us in each of the heroes, and that, in my opinion is largely a reason for its success. When many of us think about superheroes we get an idea of people running around in tights and capes, but heroes gives a different perspective. This time those chosen by fate are not extraordinary people, just people trying to make it in the world, the same world we try to make it in, in our day to day lives. Heroes makes Monday fun again, with everything a fan could ask for, from hilarious comic relif, to a plot ever increasing in complexity and involvement of the characters and special effects to impress even the most particular sci-fi fan. -Andre.
Heroes is a sci-fi categorized TV Show. It is a show that can make you go "oooh" or "aaaah" every single minute! It is about people who were given powers in order to save the world. From telepathy, the ability to heal quickly and the ability to stop time. This show is a very very good show to get your Monday Blues away(It is on tv every mondays, well, in the us. HAHAHA). This show also keeps you wondering what will happen in the end and it also makes you want to watch the next episode right after! So, what are you waiting for? Go and start watching Heroes now!!!! :D
(its playing tonight at 10 pm, Starworld. :P)

Summary
Kahoko Hino is a student at a Seisou Academy, one with an ordinary life. One day, Lili - the mischievous musical fairy who had blessed the original founder of the school - finds Kahoko running late to class. Delighted that she is able to see him, Lili grants Kahoko a magical violin, and a place in the school's annual musical competition, which many students in the music department vie to partake in.
Kahoko refuses, only to be pressed on by the fairy, who constantly nags her until she finally gives way to his pleads. She reluctantly accepts the instrument. As she practices her pieces, Kahoko is amazed that she can play any piece on the violin as long as she knows the tune and plays it with her heart.
My comments about this show is
It's AWESOME!! I love the music. All of them can play the instuments really well.I am so... jealous of them.
BUT overall,I just LOVE this anime!!!
Unlike traditional The Sims games, MySims Kingdom has a story that ties everything together. Back in the day, the kingdom was populated by wandoliers--wand-wielding citizens whose job was to help those in need--but for some reason, they all retired and no one bothered to hire any more. With the kingdom in disrepair, King Roland decides to find a new wandolier (that would be you) and have him or her shape things up. While the overarching story in MySims Kingdom is about restoring peace and happiness to the kingdom, each island has its own story in which you play a part. These enjoyable ministories include helping a robot who wants to open a diner, a zombie looking to liven up his graveyard, and an outlaw trying to make a friend. Some stories are more entertaining than others, though even the mediocre ones are spiced up with some witty dialogue from your traveling companions.
As soon as Rock Band let you play guitar, bass, drums, and sing to your favorite music, it was clear the bar had been raised in the music-game genre. It wasn't long before Activision announced that the Guitar Hero series would follow suit. The result is a very entertaining game that doesn't break a whole lot of new ground. Guitar Hero World Tour's in-game music creation feature isn't as revolutionary as it could have been due to its convoluted interface, but thanks to a huge setlist of recognizable hits and can't-miss gameplay, World Tour is a great game and certainly a huge step forward for the franchise.
The most obvious difference between World Tour and previous Guitar Hero games is that you can now sing, play drums, play bass, or play guitar. You can play one instrument alone, perform as a band with a few friends, or even hop online and rock head-to-head or as some sort of Internet supergroup. The long-awaited ability to play as a "real" band in a Guitar Hero game improves what was previously an experience shared by one or two people on guitar and bass. Bickering over setlists; swapping instruments midset; getting sweaty and stinky from jumping around in a small room while your friend with the terrible voice gives it his or her all in "Livin' on a Prayer" as your neighbors bang on the wall...that's when Guitar Hero World Tour is at its best.

My favourite pastime is reading books and this is one of my favourite book. It is call'Eldest'
This book is written by Christopher Paolini, a 24 years old novelist.
Eldest is the second book in the planned Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini.Eldest was first published in hardcover on August 23, 2005 and was released in paperback in September 2006.Eldest begins following several important events in Eragon. The story is the continued adventures of Eragon and his dragon Saphira, continue their journey to the realm of the Elves in order to further Eragon's training as a Dragon Rider.Other plots in the story focus on Roran, who leads the inhabitants of Carvahall to Surda, and Nasuada as she takes on her father's role as leader of the Varden. Eldest ends at the Battle of the Burning Plains, where Eragon faces a new Dragon Rider, and a new dragon, Thorn.Negative reviews often pointed out the similarities between Eldest and other works such as Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. However, they were tempered by some positive reviews, which praised the themes of the book, such as friendship and honor. Several of these reviews commented on the style and genre of Eldest, while others considered the possibility of a movie adaptation similar to the movie of Eragon.
the info about la corda is from wikipedia for your information.^-^
Isabella "Bella" Swan is thrown an eighteenth birthday party by Edward Cullen, the vampire she loves, and his vampire family. While unwrapping a gift, she receives a paper cut. Jasper, although attempting a non-human diet, is overwhelmed by the scent of blood and tries to attack Bella. In an attempt to keep Bella safe from the world of vampires, Edward leaves the town of Forks. Bella becomes depressed and seeks comfort with Jacob Black, an old family friend who eases her pain over losing Edward.
Bella and Jacob spend more and more time together, and Bella soon discovers that the rush of adrenaline present when she places herself in dangerous situations stimulates a hallucination of Edward's voice. Bella begins seeking out dangerous behavior, such as motorcycle riding, to keep Edward's voice with her. Meanwhile, Jacob finds out that he is a werewolf. Initially, he tries to keep this secret from Bella, but he eventually reveals as much as he can without betraying his pack. After Bella attempts cliff-diving, she gets caught in a riptide and is rescued by Jacob.
At the same time, Alice Cullen, Edward's vampire sister who has visions of the future, has a vision of Bella jumping off the cliff. Presuming Bella is dead, Alice rushes to Forks to check on Charlie, Bella's father, while Edward calls Bella's home. Jacob answers and informs Edward that Charlie is "at the funeral", referring to that of a man in town who had a heart attack, but Edward draws the conclusion that he means Bella's funeral. Desperate after Bella's supposed death, Edward flees to Italy to see the Volturi, peace-keeping vampires who would be able to kill Edward, granting him leave of a world without Bella.
Bella and Alice rush to Italy to stop Edward, and save him before it is too late. Before they leave Italy, the Volturi tell them that Bella, a human who knows of the existence of vampires, must either be killed or changed into a vampire herself. After they return to Forks, Edward explains to Bella that he only left in order to protect her, and she forgives him. The book ends with the Cullens voting in favor of Bella being changed into a vampire, much to Edward's dismay.

A favourite pastime of mine is reading, and one of my favourite books is titled Warrior cats. It is written by Erin Hunter (who is actually four women), and this story consists of three series, each series featuring three books except the newest series, The Power of Three, which (so far to my knowledge) consists of three books. New books are bound to be on their way.
This is a review made by Michelle, a Resident Scholar about the sixth book in the original series, found in the website which can be reached by using this address: http://www.allreaders.com/topics/Info_33757.asp
'For generations, four clans of wild cats have peacefully shared the forest according to laws laid down by their ancestor clans. ThunderClan is grieving because their leader, Bluster, has sacrificed herself to save them from a ravenous dog pack. Most of the ThunderClan warriors suspect that ShadowClan's leader manipulated the dogs into attacking them. Fireheart calms them down by reminding them that ShadowClan may be unaware of their leaders actions. Tigerstar was once a member of ThunderClan, but he was exiled for killing the clan's deputy. Ever since he was exiled, Tigerstar has been out to avenge himself on ThunderClan. Now that Bluestar has died, Fireheart will have to succeed her as clan leader. During his ceremony to be appointed as the clan leader,Bluestar warns him that something terrible is about to happen. Later, Fireheart has to deal with Darkstripe, a friend of the traitorous Tigerstar. Darkstripe has poisoned a kitten who saw him sneaking away from camp. Fireheart has no choice but to exile him. Darkstripe goes straight to Tigerstar, starting a chain of events that will lead to a life and death battle between Tigerstar and Fireheart.'
I like this series because it defines loyalty and courage to the extreme. It mainly features a housecat called Rusty who left his housefolk to live as a wild cat, then later, the main characters switch to his daughters and grandchildren.
Erin Hunter also released other books relating to the series, like a field guild and mangas. I really think you (yes, YOU) should try this book out if you're 11 or more years old (Due to the fact there is a teeny, weeny bit of violence). Perfect for adventurous and a bit of comedy fans.
i am sorry. i forgot the address and it is....in wikipedia.
Netball is a non-contact team sport similar to, and derived from, basketball. It is usually known as a women's sport. It was originally known in its country of origin, the United States, as "women's basketball". Invented in 1895 by Clara Gregory Baer,[1] a pioneer in women's sport, netball is now the pre-eminent women's team sport (both as a spectator and participant sport) in Australia and New Zealand and is popular in the West Indies, Sri Lanka, and the United Kingdom. Over 20 million people play netball in more than 70 countries. we must have 7 players to play netball.

Isn't Grand Theft Auto supposed to be very violent? Plus, its all about criminal activities, as far as I'm concerned.
an
Hey. Sorry for the late comment. Uhh.. My favourite book is about these two girls. This book is the best book ever because of it's subject matter, i.e. Best Friends. The girls in this book has been best friends all their lives. Then they are seperated by thier thoughtless selfish families. This is HEARTBREAKING I assure you. But the reason this is the best book ever is because i has a happy ending. The girl up in Scotland comes back home because their family hate it up there. They move back into thier old house and the two girls are best friends again. -cariiiina
